Describing places – Opis miejsca – opis miasteczka Stegna – angielski
I love Stegna said my mum after our holiday. It isn't only her opinion, because almost everyone who visited the village, located at the Baltic Sea in the north of Poland, falls in love with it. They often choose this place instead of the nearby city of Gdańsk.
Stegna stretches about five kilometres from end to end. There aren't many detached houses od blocks of flats, because quest-houses and fabulous hotels play the main role.
The streets of Stegna are so noisy every day, but when the night comes, its nooks become magic and a little mysterious. You can hear the sound of music from clubs, discos, bars and crashing waves. The tourists don't sleep. They enjoy their life.
There is something very special about this place. In Stegna visitors always can't decide which interesting place to see. For sightseers there are the Botanican Garden, the Royal Park, the church built in 1489 etc. You must believe me that the Botanican Garden is magnificent. If you are lovers of nature, you can visit this gorgeous place close to the sea.
I'm sure that the strong smell of suntan oil will attract each person towards the sunny beach. Suntanned bodies, plastic sunbeds, excited crowds and brightly coloured beach towels – this is a daily sight. You will always remember the view of the marvellous sunset. Moreover, clear water is a real paradise for simmers or drivers.
Not Gdańsk, not Ustka, not Władysławowo – Stegna has something magic that stays in memory forever.
