It was late in the evening of December 10th. Tom Bourne, a well-known New York detective, was called to the place of crime. “No marks murder’s” said annoyed policeman.

When Bourne arrived to the mystery place, a group of policeman were working hard. The detective was looking at a victim. A young, beautiful woman had a knife in her stomach. Unfortunately, on the murder weapon there weren’t any fingerprints. “It doesn’t matter, I’ll find the criminal” said Tom Bourne.

After 10 minutes, Tom ran to the kitchen. On the table there were lying the same knives as the murder weapon. “Has the victim got family?” he asked. The policeman answered that no. Suddenly the detective heard something. He looked out of the window. A tall man was packing quickly his personal things to the black car. Immediately, Bourne ran out of the house and shouted: “Don’t move Who are you?”. The man didn’t answer and jumped into his car. Next started on the engine, but at the same moment, the detective fired at tyres. The man was caught. The policeman took the suspect person to the police’s headquarters.

After two days, he admitted to the crime. He killed the woman, because she sometimes sang in her garden. “Lunatic!” said Tom Bourne and went to his house.
